Prana vinyasa flow yoga is a style of yoga focused on fluid movements, that Shiva Rea developed based on her 15 years of teachings and learning alongside the greatest Indian masters as well as recognized teachers in the United States. Through the use of rythmic vinyasas and pulsations, it teaches the body proper alignment and stimulates the flow of vital energy.

Bodily tensions melt away, tissues are better irrigated, and emotional blockages held in the body disappear. The mind is appeased and a state of union between body, spirit and soul is achieved. The feverish need to “do” at all cost is replaced by a feeling of deep calm leading to a better perception of situations and thus to the right action at the right time. Freed from his shell, from all those successive layers accumulated throughout the years to protect himself, and having achieved a higher level of consciousness, the human being allows his own light and beauty to shine outward.

Starting from an internal spiral that leads to a better knowledge of oneself and one’s pure Essence, one arrives, through yoga, to this reach towards Others and the expression of the Self.

And thus unites the microcosm of the Being with the macrocosm of the Universe.
